I-Beams

I-Beams are I-Shaped beams with a top and bottom flange on each end of a web. It is a structurally efficient combination of timber and technology and are particularly used as floor joists. They permit longer spans and wider spacing which helps to eliminate piers, floorbearers and loadbearing walls providing greater flexibility in design. They are lightweight, cost effective, easy to install and time saving while still maintaining strength and stiffness.
