About Woodshield

WoodShield timber fencing posts and rails have equivalent strength and rigidity of timber combined with the protective properties, toughness and lifespan of polyethylene.

No rot, no rust, no termite/white ant issues, no chemical issues and no disposal issues.

The Woodshield post is a patented, non-treated timber post encased in recycled polymer joining the best of both worlds.

The rigidity and strength of wood, with the toughness & resilience of plastic. This increases the strength and the longevity of the post.

When we add the polymer to the timber it adds approx. 40% additional strength.

The posts have a life span of approx. 4-5 times longer than treated timber and a 100% greater breaking angle. This means they will “give” a little rather than crack and snap.

The posts are used in viticulture/organic farming/fencing/general agriculture and the equine market.

They are also used in the ocean and around waterways in the aquaculture industries and for jetty’s etc.

The product is weather resistant, easy to handle, safe for animals **Horses DO NOT eat it**, and standard fasteners can be used. It is certified organic with Australian Organic.
